Family Program: Sew Bold Bookmarks, Cuevas and Cohn Style
Please note, this event has expired.
From Porter Wagoner’s wagon-wheel-adorned suit to Hank Snow’s ship-themed outfit, clothing designers Nudie Cohn and Manuel Cuevas often used symbols to portray ideas, songs, and stories in their work. After exploring their creations in the galleries, learn sewing basics and create your own fabric bookmark, inspired by these influential fashions, on a Singer sewing machine. All skill levels welcome. Instructors will provide guidance. Ages seven and up. Taylor Swift Education Center.
