Family Program: Ukulele Workshop John Prine Style

Participants will learn and practice ukulele basics, including a few chords and strumming techniques through the music of John Prine. Musician and teacher Johnny Duke will lead this introductory class. Duke, who recorded and toured with Little Big Town, currently tours with Mary Chapin Carpenter and recently released his own record, Reimagine. Ukuleles provided or bring your own. Ages 7 and up. Presented in support of the exhibit American Currents: The Music of 2017. Taylor Swift Education Center. Included with museum admission. Free to museum members. Limited seating.
