The Country Music Association partnered with WSM and the Grand Ole Opry to host the first International Country Music Fan Fair in 1972. The event is now an annual, four-day celebration of country music and its fans. The event was renamed CMA Music Festival in 2004, and now the extravaganza draws hundreds of thousands of fans to Nashville in early June. This ABC television special, hosted by Kelsea Ballerini and Thomas Rhett, features highlights from the 2017 festival. Performers include Dierks Bentley, Garth Brooks, Brothers Osborne, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Dan + Shay, Brett Eldredge, Florida Georgia Line, Sam Hunt, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Dustin Lynch, Maren Morris, Old Dominion, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton, Cole Swindell, Keith Urban, Brett Young, and Chris Young.
