Come celebrate Independence Day a day early on July 3 with a huge firework show, live music performances, food trucks, vendors, and more in the heart of Hendersonville!
Get an early start celebrating America on July 3 in Hendersonville at Freedom Festival, a much-loved free family festival and the largest Independence Day celebration in Sumner County! Held at Drakes Creek Park in the heart of Hendersonville, there will be many vendors to shop and delicious food truck fare for purchase. Live music fill the air throughout the event and enjoy performances during Hendersonville Has Talent! Little ones will have a blast at the Kids Zone! A huge free fireworks show that the family will love ends the event and the expansive setting of Drakes Creek Park allows every spot to be the perfect place to watch the night sky light up in honor of the USA!
Freedom Festival began in 2004 as a way to give back to local Sumner County schools through the Hendersonville Chamber Foundation and the Golden Apple Gala.This is the largest fundraiser the Hendersonville Area Chamber of Commerce does to supply teachers with grants to be awarded this October; grants are funded with proceeds raised from this event.
