From Indian Lakes with The Soil & the Sun and Lemolo
Joey Vannucchi grew up on forty acres of land near Yosemite National Park in California. Without Electricity, or other common things he spent most of his youth playing drums and teaching himself other instruments. In 2007 he began writing and recording songs in Indian Lakes, CA which eventually turned into the band “From Indian Lakes” in 2009 with a few of his hometown friends. He continues as the band’s singer/songwriter and is the multi-instrumentalist behind recordings. The bands live show has grown a reputation as being parallel to its recordings and receiving praise from peers for their inimitable musicianship and raw energy.
Their debut album, ‘The Man With Wooden Legs’ was released in 2009 and was quickly followed up by a fan favorite, ‘Acoustic EP’, which Joey recorded and mixed in a home studio. After a few years of writing, touring, and building their fan base, they released ‘Able Bodies’ in November 2013. The album took the music scene by storm and remains in high acclaim by countless sites, magazines, blogs, and of course, their fans.
After releasing their first two albums independently and gaining a dedicated following through several US tours, the band decided it was finally time to partner with Triple Crown Records to continue their growth and building upon an already strong foundation.
They are set to release their debut album on Triple Crown Records mid-summer and already have an extensive touring schedule in the works; tours both at home and abroad.
