Jeff Prince grew up in Ft. Myers Florida and after college moved to Nashville, in the 1990’s, to pursue songwriting. He signed a publishing deal in 1997 with “On the Mantel Music” owned by hit songwriter James Dean Hicks. Jeff now presently writes for his own company and has co-wrote with over 25 #1 songwriters, CMA and Grammy award winners and artists. Jeff co-wrote with jimmy melton the song “django and jimmie” which was recorded by willie nelson and merle haggard as the title cut on their 2015 #1 Billboard country album “django and jimmie”. Jeff’s songs have been recorded by Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Jason Matthews, James Dean Hicks, Wynn Varble, Alex Call, Tony Justice, Buck Ford, Phillip McCurry and many others.
