Georgia on My Mind with The Peach Pickers & Friends

Presented by Ryman Auditorium at Ryman Auditorium, Nashville TN

May 16 2017
Georgia on My Mind with The Peach Pickers & Friends

The spring tradition features the Peach Pickers—Rhett Akins, Dallas Davidson and Ben Hayslip—assembling a star-studded group of friends to celebrate the music of their home state of Georgia. Proceeds from the concert benefit the Georgia Music Foundation which in the past three years, has distributed nearly $150,000 in Music Preservation, Education and Outreach Grants to school and non-profit programs throughout the Peach State.

The 2017 lineup of artists will be announced throughout April, but tickets often sell out prior to the announcement. Artists joining the Peach Pickers in the past three years have included Luke Bryan (who has participated every year), Jason Aldean, Big Boi of Outkast, Thomas Rhett, Cole Swindell, Randy Houser, Lee Brice, Craig Campbell, Laura Alaina, Tyler Farr, Otis Redding III, Dexter Redding, Maggie Rose, Daryle Singletary, Brent Cobb, Pat Alger, Tony Arata, Travis Denning, Trea Landon, Jon Langston, Jordan Rager, Sonia Leigh and the James Brown Academy of Musik Pupils’ JAMP Masters.

Each year during the concert, the Georgia Music Foundation presents its Flamekeeper Award to a Georgia artist who tirelessly preserves and promotes Georgia’s musical roots and traditions.

Among the three of them, the Peach Pickers have accumulated more than 60 #1 hits as songwriters since 2010 with their respective catalogs including “I Don’t Want This Night to End,” “All About Tonight,” “Boys Round Here,” “That’s My Kind of Night,” “Gimme That Girl” and many more.
