Grose National Product, Lobby Language and Emma Ohm and the Resistors

Grose National Product: Local 4-piece rock group Grose National Product, led by front man Chris Grose, play a wide array of rock styles from classic Queen and Twisted Sister to 90s Nirvana and Weezer. Selections from Grose’s 2015 album Etymon make up the remainder of their repertoire, as well as various untested singles. The band is still in their performance infancy with their debut show taking place in November.

Emma Ohm and the Resistors: There’s nothing more powerful than music. Likewise, there’s nothing more irresistible than a stanky groove. Thankfully, Emma Ohm and the Resistors have got the power. In fact,they are irresistible.  This dynamic five piece features Nic Vulcano on percussion, Dimitri Secker on bass, Matt Vero on keys, Luke Vitale on lead guitar and Emma Ohm on second guitar and vocals. With influences ranging from neo soul bands like Hiatus Kaiyote to power-funk bands such as Turkuaz, Emma Ohm and the Resistors fuse together the best of funk, blues, jazz, and rock n’ roll to create their signature “groovy jam band” sound. Their main goal is not simply getting fans to hear their sound, but to feel the music coursing through their veins. Whether it be the funky slap bass line in their hit song “Crack”, the blazing guitar riffs in “Cherry” or the sultry vocals in “Everything is Easy”, Emma Ohm and the Resistors will vibe through your soul all night if you let them.

Lobby Language: Lobby Language was born in 2015 when four friends attending Belmont University looked at each other and said “Why the fuck not?” Currently, they are in and out of the studio working on an EP and their first album while also playing at local venues around Nashville. Their sound combines elements of the Foo Fighters, White Stripes, and Nirvana. Lobby Language is a band that cares about the music from creation to delivery and everything in between.
