The Symphony’s Christmas tradition moves to a different holiday season, giving audiences a chance to hear Handel’s beloved oratorio celebrating the birth and resurrection of Christ at the very time of year for which it was originally written: Easter.

After reviewing guidance from the CDC and consulting the latest epidemiological data for our region, Nashville Symphony and Schermerhorn Symphony Center are making the following update to their Health & Safety Plan, effective Friday, March 11: 

Masks will no longer be required at Schermerhorn Symphony Center. They will continue to welcome and encourage masks, particularly for those in high-risk populations, and will have masks available for any patron who would like to wear one. As a reminder, proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test is not required for entry at this time.

If you are concerned about exposure risk, please note that N95, KN95 and KF-94 masks have been demonstrated to provide effective protection for the wearer. We have a supply of surgical and KN95 masks available for patrons upon request, though availability may be limited based on demand.
