Hit Makers & Rum Chasers is a Hurricane Relief Concert for the children of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The Charley Foundation presents Hit Makers & Rum Chasers: A Hurricane Relief Concert featuring live performances by Danny Myrick (“She’s Country”, “I Love This Life”, “International Harvester”), Bridgette Tatum (“She’s Country”, “The Yee-haw Song”, (Uncle Si & The Sicotics), Kent Blazy (“If Tomorrow Never Comes”, “Gettin’ Her Home”, “Ain’t Goin’ Til The Sun Comes Up”) and Marc Beeson (“When She Cries”, “We Are Tonight”, “She’s Got A Way With Words”) with more to be announced soon.
This benefit will feature a buffet dinner & signature cocktails by renowned USVI guest Chef Mathayom Vacharat. As a resident of St. John since 1995, Mathayom Vacharat is the owner and head chef at Mathayom Private Chefs and St. John Catering at Windy Level. His experience as an executive chef at premiere fine dining restaurants on St. John lends his cuisine a breadth of influences ranging from Asian Fusion to Progressive American to Caribbean Flair. Mat is creating an island-inspired custom buffet along with the perfect drink pairings for this special night.
All proceeds benefit children’s charities and family relief organizations of the United States Virgin Islands. Beneficiaries include the Gifft Hill School, The Virgin Islands Children’s Museum, St. John School of the Arts and Family Resource Center.
