Homegrown Beerthday Festival

Donelson’s favorite Homegrown Taproom & Marketplace will celebrate its first year of business with “Homegrown’s First Beerthday Festival” on Saturday, Nov. 12 from 12-5 p.m. Co-owners Robin Davis and Jennifer Starks opened Homegrown in 2015 to bring craft beer and local food to the Donelson neighborhood. With a host of regulars and events happening almost every night, Homegrown has steadily grown into the neighborhood “watering hole” nestled in Donelson Plaza II on Old Lebanon Road.

“The Donelson community has been overwhelmingly supportive of us over the past year, and we are excited to celebrate with our first-ever beer fest,” said Jennifer Starks, co-owner of Homegrown Taproom & Marketplace. “We’ve also got a new fall menu for people to try and our merchandising cooler is slowly being stocked with local meats and cheeses. Our full vision for Homegrown is being realized and we’re ready to celebrate with the friends and neighbors that have been with us all along, as well as welcome those that are just finding us!”

Homegrown’s First Beerthday Fest will feature local breweries, including Czann’s, Black Abbey, Little Harpeth, Yazoo, Honky Tonk, East Nashville Beer Works and Fat Bottom, with additional breweries being added. Food specials will include nachos and Porter Road Butcher bratwurst. Guests are invited to fill up a complimentary 5-ounce sampler glass with a variety of brews while enjoying food, good company and live music from Dan Colehour and other acts to be named.
