Homeschool History Club - February

Join the Homeschool History Club and see for yourself why History ROCKS at Belle Meade Historic Site!

Since 2010, Middle Tennessee homeschooling families have joined Belle Meade Historic Site & Winery’s Homeschool History Club for social studies enrichment and resources. This one-of-a-kind program combines guided lessons, social interaction, hands-on activities, crafts, and games to create a unique learning experience for students.

“My kids love this program! They are excited to go every month and jump out of the car as soon as we arrive. Thank you to your staff for all their hard work making this program fun and educational for our family!” – Courtney, homeschool mom of 3

Each month’s Homeschool History Club meeting is different! Homeschool History Club Leaders pull resources from STEM subjects, visual arts, performing arts, music, and more to craft interactive social studies lessons. It’s guaranteed to be the most fun history lesson you’ve ever had!

Belle Meade Historic Site & Winery’s Statement on Health and Safety at Homeschool History Club:

Our Homeschool History Club Leaders are CPR/First Aid Certified with the American Red Cross and have also completed an online child safety course. All students and staff agree to our Code of Conduct and anti-bullying policies, and we take the care of your children very seriously. To keep ourselves and our community safe, we have opportunities for hand-washing and we regularly disinfect all surfaces. We provide each student with their own crafting supplies; items like crayons, scissors, and pencils are not shared between students.

Until the Metro Nashville and Davidson County Department of Health and CDC recommendations change, we will require the use of face coverings/masks for all students and staff to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Homeschool History Club Leaders will keep their masks on at all times to protect your children. We will ask students to wear their masks and practice social distancing at all times. Students will eat lunch on-site; therefore, during lunch and at other appropriate times, we will utilize social distancing and outdoor spaces. We are hopeful that our current global health situation will improve soon; as it does, we will update our mask policy.
