William (Rusty) Cottrel as Chief Black Hoof.

First person historical presentation regarding Shawnee Chief, Black Hoof.

William Cottrel tells the story of Shawnee Chief, Black Hoof, who was born in Florida circa 1720.  His tribe migrated to Ohio in the mid 1700’s and he fought in the French & Indian War, the American Revolution, and the Battle of Fallen Timbers.  At age 94, he sided with America in the War of 1812.

Includes a tour of the Bridal House.
