Interview and Performance: Trisha Yearwood

Presented by Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum at Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Nashville TN

Interview and Performance: Trisha Yearwood

Trisha Yearwood’s success helped redefine country music. Her powerful voice and her aptitude for finding quality songs led to unprecedented sales for a female country singer’s debut recordings. Record labels reacted by expanding opportunities for women artists in Nashville. Yearwood has broadened her career by acting in films and on TV, including a recurring role on the CBS drama JAG. In recent years, she has co-written best-selling cookbooks and hosted the Emmy-winning TV program Trisha’s Southern Kitchen. She takes a break from touring with husband Garth Brooks for this program celebrating the opening of her exhibit, Trisha Yearwood: The Song Remembers When.
