Introduction to Garment Sewing

Experience the joy of learning to sew your own clothes. Each student will make their own pair of trousers or pajama pants with pockets and an elastic waistband for their first project. Students will choose between a top, tunic, or tote bag with pockets for their second project. Skills covered in this class include how to read a pattern, bias binding, French seams, and hems. All levels of experience are welcome in this beginner course.  Students should bring their own sewing machine; a suggested supply list will be provided.
