Introduction to Monoprint

Have fun creating one of a kind works of art through the fascinating print making process called monoprint! Students will have the opportunity to use an etching press to build unique, multi-layered prints with infinite possibilities. Our teaching artist will demonstrate an extravaganza of monoprint techniques, including painting ink on plexiglass, printing from a variety of textures and hand-cut stencils, layering color, incorporating collage and found papers, watercolor monoprint, reductive drawing into ink, and more!
