Jazzmania 2019

Jazzmania is the Jazz Party of the Year!

Mark your calendars for Jazzmania 2019, the annual fall jazz party and fundraiser.

Jazzmania is the Jazz Party of the Year with great live jazz from some of the city’s finest musicians. This year’s artist lineup is sensational!

Great Jazz, with musical guests:

The Gerald Clayton Quartet
The Lori Mechem Quartet
NJW Young Artist Ensemble

Jazzmania also includes a live and silent auction, with unique and desirable items. The Silent Auction features the Small Works art collection along with many dining and entertainment packages and unique experiences.

The live auction features fabulous items and packages, including vacation packages, special dinner and concert experiences, and beautiful original artwork.

Click here to view the online silent auction. You may use this link to browse the auction, but to bid you should use the link you get by email or text with your bidder number. If you’re a Jazzmania ticket-holder or guest you’ll receive a bidder number and link to the auction. (If you haven’t, call 615-242-5299 or email). If you’re not attending Jazzmania but want to bid, click here to sign up – you will receive email or text with your bidder number within 24 hours.

Another special element of Jazzmania is the the NJW Heritage Award, presented annually to a person who has made major contributions to the jazz community over an extended time. Congratulations to last year’s winner, Jeff Coffin!

Reception includes drinks, hors d’Ouevres, and a meet-and-greet with The Gerald Clayton Quartet!

All proceeds from Jazzmania go to support the operation of the Jazz Workshop, including classes, performances, and community outreach activities for youth, seniors, and the entire communityThis year’s fundraising carries a special urgency, as NJW must leave its longtime home at the Neuhoff Complex to make way for construction of a new development at Neuhoff. A move to new space, scheduled for this fall and winter, will be costly and will require extensive community support.
