The Nashville Shakespeare Festival brings you the online premiere of Jesters Dead: A Top Gun Shakesparody, inspired by “Top Gun” the movie & the works of William Shakespeare mashed together by Rhett Henckel & Nat McIntyre.
The play follows the story of the 1986 classic movie TOP GUN starring Tom Cruise, using lines from the film interspersed with lines from every one of Shakespeare’s plays. Nat McIntyre, one of the play’s authors, directs this all-female cast of Nashville actors, including Morgan Davis as Maverick, Cori Ann Laemmel as Goose, Megan Murphy Chambers as Stinger, and more. Also look for a celebrity cameo appearance by football great, Eddie George! The actors will record from their homes and the play will be live-streamed on NSF’s YouTube channel.

The event will be FREE to watch, but there is a suggested donation of $20 to help the Nashville Shakespeare Festival survive while theaters are closed.
