Kid Pastel w/ Caroline Romano

Originally starting as a solo project by frontman Idin Kain in 2021, guitarist Ty Bullock found his way into the band by way of writing. Taking inspiration from acts such as The Maine, Nothing but Thieves, and Manchester Orchestra, the two quickly found a niche style of music to deliver a punch not yet delivered. 

The group would be completed by guitarist Sean Rossettie, bassist Aaron Young, and drummer Caleb Hughes in the summer of 2022, leading to a string of shows at historic Nashville venues such as the Basement, the End, the Cobra, the East Room, and a feature spot at Marathon Music Works. 

The band’s debut single “Skin” was released in August of 2022, garnering over 14k streams in the following months. “Problematic” was then released in October. 

The band is currently in the process of recording a 6 song EP, slated to be released in Spring of 2023.
