Kree Harrison with Stealing Oceans

Presented by 3rd and Lindsley at 3rd and Lindsley, Nashville TN

Kree Harrison with Stealing Oceans

Kree Harrison has been singing since as long as she can remember. Growing up in Woodville Texas, Kree was inspired by her parents musical tastes of The Beatles, Patsy Cline, Merle Haggard, The Judds and Otis Redding. She appeared on The Rosie O’Donnell Show at 10 years old, and signed her first record deal with Lyric Street Records soon after that. She quickly moved to Nashville and began growing her roots in music city. Over the next 13 years, Kree has worked her way in Nashville writing with some of the top writers in the business, singing demos and backups for various signed artists, and performing whenever and wherever she could. Making herself a household name in the city, tragedy struck Kree twice when she lost her father in a plane crash and her mother in a car accident both by the time she was 19 years old. Sticking close to her family and friends, Kree continued with her dream and was urged by her sister to audition for American Idol in 2012. She wowed fans and the judges during the season with her effortless vocals, moving song choices and calm demeanor. — from CMT.com
