At Lacy’s shows, fans are just as likely to hear elements of Gospel or Bluegrass as they are Country or Blues. She even admits her favorite song to perform live is a vintage Motown cover the Jackson 5’s “I Want You Back” with banjo and pedal steel. Her diversity allows her to create a unique live experience for each audience. Now living in Nashville, Lacy has also found success as a songwriter for other artists. In six short months of moving to town, Lacy already managed to place her music on other artist albums and in an independent film project alongside industry veterans Vince Gill, Charlie Daniels, and producer Buddy Cannon. Not forgetting her artist dreams however, Lacy continues working feverishly writing new songs, honing her live performance, and preparing for her next full length album release which she hopes will be a brand new sound for country listeners. During her senior year at UNC-Chapel Hill in 2010, Lacy began working on her debut EP with producer and renowned songwriting veteran, Ronnie Bowman. The project includes Lacy’s first single, the warm and instantly familiar “For the Summertime,” which broke into the Top 100 for country radio singles during the summer of 2011. Since earning her degree, Lacy has already conquered her first radio tour, released her debut album, moved to Nashville and performed her music all over the country.
