Laurel Wright started singing in church at the age of four. She picked up a guitar when she was 10 and wrote her first song. She’s opened for artists such as The Band Perry, Josh Thompson, Sara Evans, Randy Houser, Scotty McCreery etc.. She has over 13,000 “likes” on her Facebook page that she started and manages herself. She was a semi finalist for American Idol 2014 & 2015. She won the Texaco Country Showdown at age 16 winning $100,000, singing on the Ryman Stage and being the youngest person to ever win the competition. She moved to Nashville in September and says she’s very blessed for all the opportunists given to her.
