Lockeland Strings ft. Maya De Vitry, Allison Young & Lydia Luce

Lockeland Strings will present an evening of songwriters featuring Maya De Vitry, Allison Young, and Lydia Luce, as well as featured composers, accompanied by a Lockeland Strings ensemble.

Lockeland Strings is a community arts organization that puts on monthly showcases of local artists accompanied by string quintet, alongside performances of new contemporary classical pieces from local composers. This event will feature songwriters Maya De Vitry, Allison Young, and Lydia Luce, with compositions by Chris Lippincott as well as Jordan Lehning featuring Parker James on vibes.

With past performances from Kacey Musgraves to Lucie Silvas, Lockeland Strings has grown from a house show to the Parthenon and Wilburn Street Studios. It partners with a new nonprofit each month to give a platform to organizations, including the ACLU of Tennessee, Girls Write Nashville, The Little Pantry That Could and the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.
