Miel Restaurant celebrates the best of the Loire Valley with special ticketed dinner event that features Loire Valley wines paired with classic dishes from the Region.
Indulge in one of Miel’s special Loire Valley Wine Dinner events in April, that will feature exceptional wines from the Loire Valley paired with classic regional cuisine. Proprietor Seema Prasad, who recently traveled to the Loire for an in-depth visit with the area’s top producers, will share her knowledge of these nuanced wines (and why they are so food friendly!) as guests taste a variety of vintages during dinner. Each event will kick-off with a perennial favorite: N.V. Louis de Grenelle Sparkling Rosé, made out of Cabernet franc, the dominant grape in the region. Working with Franklin, TN-based Jon-David Headrick, the U.S. premier importer of Loire Valley Wines, Prasad enjoys access to the best selection in the country. Dinners on April 20 and 28 will include Duck Rillette, Oyster Soup, and Braised Port Shoulder with sauce chasseur and granna tuile. Dessert features Profiteroles and fruit mousse paired with a rich, bright and sweet Coteaux du Layon to end the meal.
