Once Was Lost: Free Reading, Live Concert & Photo Exhibit
Third Man Books’ 2016 finale features four acclaimed Nashville poets, including Third Man Books own Kendra DeColo who’s most recent book, My Dinner With Ron Jeremy, the Nashville Scene named “Favorite Nashville Poetry Book of 2016,” newi-ish Nashvillian, via Colorado and NYC, Dan Hoy will be reading from his hot off the press Deathbed Editions, host of the popular Writing on the Wall and Lyrical Brew reading series, Ciona Rouse, will be sharing her words, writer Caroline Randall Williams whom Southern Living magazine described as one of the “50 People Changing the South in 2015” will read her poetry, and/or award winning YA fiction, or maybe even some of her best-selling cookbook recipes (!), and, in addition to the poets, our very special guest, photographer, guitarist Richard Leo Johnson, who’s coming back to Nashville from Savannah, GA., will not only be exhibiting his photo collection ONCE WAS LOST —as featured in The Oxford American — but also will be performing a set of guitar music. Playboy Magazine touted him as “the most innovative guitarist since Jim Hendrix.” It’s going to be a full night. – Facebook
