MARINA and previously by the stage name Marina and the Diamonds is a Welsh singer and songwriter. She describes herself as an “indie artist with pop goals”.

Born in Brynmawr and raised in nearby Pandy, she moved to London as a teenager to become a professional singer, despite having little formal musical experience. In 2009, Diamandis came to prominence upon placing second in the BBC’s Sound of 2010. Her debut studio album, The Family Jewels (2010), incorporates indie pop and new wave musical styles. It entered the UK Albums Chart at number five and was certified gold by the British Phonographic Industry. The album’s second single, “Hollywood”, peaked at number 12 on the UK Singles Chart.

Ancient Dreams In A Modern Land ,her fifth studio LP was released on June 11, 2021.

The first single, “Man’s World”, was released on November 18, 2020, accompanied by 2 remixes, a stripped version, and a Marinazine issue which was released alongside the album. The second single, “Purge The Poison”, was released on April 14, 2021. The third single, “Ancient Dreams In A Modern Land”, was released on May 19, 2021. “Venus Fly Trap” was released as the fourth single from the album on June 9, 2021.

Valet parking is available at the Ryman for most shows (excluding Opry at the Ryman) provided by Nissan.  To utilize the valet parking please enter the Ryman drive from Fifth Avenue and pull up the valet stand. Cost of parking is $20.00 per car. If you drive a Nissan, valet parking is free. Please note that the valet will be open until approximately one hour after the show ends.

There are also many paid parking lots and street meters in the area around the Ryman.  For further parking information please visit Park It! Downtown.
