An Instruction Workshop for students from beginner on up. 4 days of instruction, jams, events and contests right in the heart of Music City. Learn to play from some of the best. Bring friends, coworkers, and register early to reserve a spot!

Midwest Harmonica Workshop (MHW), an instructional weekend on How to play the Harmonica, is expanding into the south. Starting on Thursday, the 23rd of February and stretching through the 26th, interested attendees will learn how to play the harmonica and experienced players will hone their skills while getting a taste for the southern Blues and Country music scene. Well-known instructors, local and visiting, will give attendees a jam packed weekend filled with instruction, jams, discussion, networking and live performances.  Midwest Harmonica Workshop’s organizer Sean Wailin O’Phelan, a student of harmonica and experienced event planner, is in his 4th year of planning these one of a kind, inspirational weekends and has described it as a dream come true for the average attendee. MHW is excited to offer up to 30 seats at each workshop to interested attendees from all around the globe. Registration for the upcoming events is easy and is completed via the website or Facebook page available below. Find out more on the website, Youtube, and social media. MHW is looking for local sponsors and support, as well as volunteers and staff for each of its locations. Be a part of the team, contact Sean with questions and inquiries today. The harmonica is a great instrument with a historical background in the south. It is portable, easy to use and packs a punch. If used properly, the harmonica can be an ideal addition to any musical situation. Registration is limited and events book quickly so early registration is encouraged.
