Miss Jackie Wilson
Please note, this event has expired.
MAY 23rd, MISS JACKIE WILSON is serving up a Rhythm & Grooves Experience of “IN THE MOMENT MUSIC”, Live from The Living Room at 3rd & Lindsley! Featuring some of her FRAMILY members who in her opinion are some of MUSIC CITY’s BEST!
You never know who will show up…
Miss Jackie Wilson has one of those voices that you will never forget. She started singing at the age of three, inspired by her mother’s musical influence. Her music can be described as a mix of Ann Peebles, Aretha Franklin, Joss Stone, Chaka Khan, and a little Whitney Houston. When she sings, Jackie won’t just sing to your soul, she’ll touch, and inspire it!
Notably, Jackie was a Season 10 Top 40 American Idol Finalist. She wowed audiences worldwide and the judges, Steven Tyler, Randy Jackson, and Jennifer Lopez. Jackie headlined four years at Bourbon Street Blues & Boogie Bar, located in historic Printer’s Alley in downtown Nashville, TN. She helped build a stellar Saturday night show. One that folks came to Nashville just to experience!
Jackie has had the opportunity to sing for some legendary talents such as Al Green, Chaka Khan, Michael McDonald, Jonny Lang, and Bonnie Bramlett, to name a few. They all agree she is a talent you don’t want to miss! Chaka Khan says “She’s a bad Motha$%#^er”!
When she takes the stage hold on to your seat and prepare for a musical journey reminiscent of the feeling music gave you back in the day with a flare of something new, authentic, and fiercely different that is only….Miss Jackie Wilson!
