Monarch Milkweed Project at Fort Negley

Every year Monarch butterflies travel from Mexico to Canada and back.  This trip takes multiple generations travelling over thousands of miles.  And because of Milkweed it can all happen.  Milkweed plays a vital role in the life cycle of Monarchs because every generation begins and ends with Milkweed.

Join Us October 24th at 10 am to explore how your family and Milkweed can help save the declining Monarch butterfly population.

Visit our milkweed garden.  Enjoy hands-on learning and arts & crafts.  Take home a free milkweed garden starter kit while supplies last.
