The Music City MLK Roundball Classic, Inc. is a high school basketball tournament established to raise funds to provide scholarship assistance, mentorship counseling and interactive educational panel discussions to low and moderate income students. Inn addition the tournament, there will also be a financial literacy lecture on Saturday. Thus the activities at the Classic over MLK weekend are designed to provide more than just a competitive athletic opportunity. They are designed to also educate and inform participants in a positive, nurturing environment.

The 2017 tournament begins on Saturday January 14th, 2017, with four games followed by a three point contest ending with the girl’s champion sharp shooter versus the boy’s champion in order to crown the Music City Classic Three Point champion. The night will conclude with an exciting Slam Dunk contest.

Sunday, January 15th, 2017, is slated for six games and Monday, January 16th, 2017, we will provide a seven game line up.
