Nashville Christmas Parade

TBA will serve as the Grand Marshal for the 66th Annual Piedmont Natural Gas Nashville Christmas Parade! The 1-mile route parade will take place on Saturday, December 7, at 8:30 AM starting near the Woodland Street Bridge and 1st Avenue North, proceeds down 1st Avenue, continues up Broadway and ends near 8th Avenue just past Bridgestone Arena.

The Nashville Christmas Parade will include celebrity performances, elaborate floats, helium balloons, mass performing groups featuring singers, dancers and choirs; and marching bands from multiple states. The parade route travels along the scenic “Musical Mile” and is flanked by tens of thousands of enthusiastic spectators anticipating the arrival of Santa Claus.

The parade will step off at 8:30 AM and reach the Reserved Ticketed Seating area for LIVE broadcast at 9:00 AM. Guests are asked to be in their seats in the Reserved Ticketed Seating Area by 8:45 AM. The Reserved Ticketed Seating Area is located at the cross sections of BROADWAY and 5th Avenue. The parade will take place rain or shine. All ticket sales are FINAL and are NON-REFUNDABLE and NOT REPLACEABLE if lost or Stolen. Proceeds benefit The Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. View the Route.

Some of the proceeds from this year’s event will benefit Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt along with the Share the Warmth program. Children’s Hospital provides pediatric specialty care to families across the region, and the event proceeds will support a four-floor expansion as part of the hospital’s Growing to New Heights Campaign. Share the Warmth is Piedmont’s energy assistance program that helps local low-income families pay their energy bills at any point during the year, regardless of their energy source. Since 2003, Piedmont Natural Gas, its customers and the Piedmont Natural Gas Foundation have donated more than $2.6 million to the Share the Warmth program. For more information about Share the Warmth, visit www.piedmontng.com/sharethewarmth.

In addition to WKRN-TV live coverage, the Piedmont Natural Gas Nashville Christmas Parade is going national this year.
