Nashville Public Library Literary Award Gala Patrons Party

Presented by Nashville Public Library Foundation at Nashville Public Library - Main Library, Nashville TN

Nov 12 2021
Nashville Public Library Literary Award Gala Patrons Party

Often described as “the best book club in town,” the weekend kicks off on Friday night at the Nashville Public Library Literary Award Gala Patrons Party, sponsored by Pinnacle Financial Partners.

This evening cocktail party, which will take place at the Main Library, allows you to mingle and network with the who’s who of Nashville and the literary world, including the Literary Award recipient. This year’s event will feature a conversation between owner of Parnassus Books and international best-selling author Ann Patchett and two-time Pulitzer Prize winning, National Book Award winning, and New York Times bestselling author Colson Whitehead, who is the Gala’s 2021 honoree.

PARKING INFO

Metro government is modernizing the parking garage adjacent to the Main Library. The project began late June 2016. Approximately 360 spaces will be added, and other improvements will be made to the garage. Seventy-five parking spaces are temporarily closed for the duration of construction. Project completion is expected in spring of 2018.

Due to the temporary parking space decrease and temporary lane closures, please allow extra time when planning to visit during peak hours or for special events.
