Nashville Sounds vs. Omaha Storm Chasers

The 2020 season will kick off the 43rd season for the Nashville Sounds and sixth season at the state-of-the-art First Horizon Park. The 2019 season was the first for the Sounds as the Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, and the 42nd overall in team history. It was the 22nd campaign as a member of the 16-team Pacific Coast League.

The inaugural season of Nashville Sounds baseball was in 1978 as the Double-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. Over the last 42 years, 1,299 players have donned a Sounds uniform and 912 of those have played in the big leagues.
