The Nashvillian of the Year celebration dinner is held annually to recognize a business individual in the Nashville community who emulates the city's personality with focus and contribution to the positive growth and economic development of Nashville. The Nashvillian of the Year is an individual with proven success in the Nashville business community, and one who demonstrates not only an entrepreneurial spirit, but also a generous nature by giving back to the community in a variety of areas. This year, we are honoring two individuals: John and Stephanie Ingram.
The mission of the Nashvillian of the Year is to recognize individuals who have made contributions to the community, to philanthropic causes and to business developments. These individuals have demonstrated leadership in working to ensure that Nashville continues to be a better place to live, work and prosper. While recognizing these individuals, the Nashvillian of the Year's purpose is to raise funds in support of Easter Seals Tennessee's mission, which is to provide exceptional services to ensure that all people with disabilities or special needs and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn work and play in their community.
