NGOMA - Drum and Dance Jam

Our final event with visiting African artists Sory Diabate and Agathe Moubembe is an open level West African dance class at 4:00pm followed by a freestyle drum and dance jam at 5:00pm. One of Global Education Center’s signature events, our World Dance Parties and NGOMA Drum and Dance Jams offer a rare opportunity for people to dance any way they want to live percussion. While some of our African dancers will be present to help guide the dance, participants are encouraged to bring their own flavors to the mix. This drum and dance jam is appropriate for the entire family and promises to wear you out and keep you smiling.
