The Nashville Sports Council, Nashville Predators, and the City of Nashville will play host to the 2016 National Hockey League All-Star Celebration! The League's mid-seaon showcase will take place on Saturday, January 30th and Sunday, Janurary 31st. The weekend is scheduled to include the Honda NHL All-Star Skills Competition and the NHL All-Star Game.
The All-Star Weekend will be hosted by Nashville for the first time, marking the fourth consecutive first-time All-Star host city. Hosting an All-Star Game has been on the Predators radar since hosting the successful 2003 Entry Draft that saw more than 13,000 fans in attendance to the tune of $10 million in visitor spending. Since 2010, Nashville has been booming with growth, highlighted by the new Music City Center, countless new downtown hotels and many new restaurants and entertainment venues. The combination of all these things have made Nashville a desirable city for the League to showcase one of their premiere events.
