Willy Cannon, aka Willy Funk, suffered from a massive stroke on January 14th, 2022. He underwent emergency surgery for a blood clot located on his brain. While the surgery was a success, Willy spent several weeks in the Neuro ICU At Nashville West. The stroke left Willy without the use of his left arm and leg. His speech was slightly affected as well. However, his mind is sharp as usual! Willy has already endured 2 months of hospitalization and Is currently receiving rehabilitation in Nashville. Unfortunately, Willy has no medical insurance. He has a VERY long road of recovery ahead.
