Pink & Blue

Found Movement Group’s executive & artistic director, Stacie Flood-Popp with Found Youth artistic director, Travis Cooper follow up their inaugural year of the Found Youth with another heart led production.  Returning are many of the talented teenagers from last year as well as gaining new talent to tackle another controversial topic, that of gender inequality/ norming.  “Pink & Blue” is told through hyperbole from both male and female perspectives with the intention to challenge the audience’s imbedded idea of gender roles in society.  Many of the Found Movement Group adult company members contribute choreography to the show to help bring Travis’s vision/ concept to life.  The teens bring passion, angst, curiosity, and humor to the exploration of gender inequality/ norming through contemporary dance.  Skillful, passionate, fun, emotional and compelling all come together in “Pink & Blue”.
