Join Prevent Child Abuse Tennessee for the 6th annual Pinwheels for Prevention Kickoff at the Nashville Farmers' Market on Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 10am – 12pm. April is child abuse prevention month! In 2008, Prevent Child Abuse America introduced the pinwheel as the new national symbol for child abuse prevention through Pinwheels for Prevention®. A pinwheel evokes whimsical, childlike, carefree emotions. Today, it represents the happy and healthy childhoods that every child deserves. Throughout the month of April, pinwheel gardens will be "blooming" across the state of Tennessee. You're invited to this FREE, fun, family, event to learn more about what Pinwheels for Prevention is all about, how to plant a garden in your community, and what Prevent Child Abuse Tennessee is doing to help families across the state.
