Experience the artist’s process of painting en plein air.
Throughout the month of June, distinguished Nashville artists gather across the grounds as a public display of painterly talent and nature appreciation, creating original artwork in the traditional style of plein air painting. Cheekwood is inviting their members and guests to politely observe the artists at work as they capture the beauty of Cheekwood’s summer gardens.
The completed works will be on display through Labor Day in a new exhibition En Plein Air.
ADMISSION INFO
This event is included with general admission or membership. For the safety of staff, tickets will not be sold on-site at this time and all guests, including members, must reserve a timed-entry ticket online. Members will still receive free admission based upon membership level, but they must have a reserved ticket in order for Cheekwood to manage safe capacity.
