August Feature Tricia Schwaab
Tricia Schwaab has written since childhood but had never read at a poetry open mic until coming to Tennessee. Her poetry has been published in journals including Calliope and Dead Snakes.
In addition to poetry, she can also be found writing shorter fiction and plays. Her first one-act, an adaptation of Nathaniel Hawthorne’s The Prophetic Pictures, was produced in Maryland. Her first full-length play, When the Letter Writers Have All Died, was part of the Baltimore Playwrights Festival in 2013.
Tricia is also a past participant of the Kennedy Center’s Page to Stage. She’s currently working on a play about life, death, and some of things in between.
