Lindsey Blackwell is a multi-instrumentalist singer songwriter originally from Amarillo, Texas. She began writing songs at the age of 11, and performing locally by the age of 14. Blackwell credits the majority of her songwriting to her time spent in Lubbock, Texas while in college at South Plains in the Commercial Music Program. She moved to Nashville, Tennessee in June of 2014 and began writing with various songwriters, while recording her first single “Olivia” that was released in September of 2014; written by Blackwell, and produced by Tom Guardino. She released her second single “Let Me Go” in May of 2015, also written by Blackwell and produced by Jon Taylor of Mount Vernon Studios. She released her first album in March of 2016.
