Rabbi Rami Shapiro | Author of Holy Rascals

We live in a world that is filled with things that humans have made up — from Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony to Freud’s psychotherapy. There is beauty in that! “The problem isn’t that religion is made up; the problem is that religions can’t admit that they are made up.” Rami Shapiro goes beyond “isms” and ideologies to help us discover what it means to be a Holy Rascal and why our world desperately needs more of them! Throughout Holy Rascals: Advice for Spiritual Revolutionaries, Rami Shapiro shares personal, insightful stories, inviting us to question everything we think we know about religion. He provides the tools needed to pull back the curtain and see behind religions’ fear-based mechanisms of control, coaching us to uncover our own “rascally” ways. Through humor and honesty, Rami’s Holy Rascals offers radical teachings and practices to bring deeper meaning and authenticity to our lives. He brings a refreshing openness to the topic of religion with the intent to allow a larger audience to benefit from spirituality—without getting caught in the trap of traditional religions “true vs. false” mentality. If you’re looking for a new perspective on faith that provides an inclusivity that brand-name religions often lack, then let Rami Shapiro be your guide to becoming a true Holy Rascal.
