The golden voice, Rex Allen Jr., hosts country music’s second longest running radio show, The Ernest Tubb Midnite Jamboree. This is an historic night for two reasons: Rex Allen Jr. just kicked off his farewell, Sunrise to Sunset Tour. And the Midnite Jamboree is about to celebrate its 70th anniversary.
Fans can enjoy one of the best country/western singers in a 500 seat theatre, which includes a meet and greet following. The show is then broadcast on 650am WSM at 12 midnight.
Western Music Association Hall of Famer Rex Allen Jr. has over 50 hits, hosted his own television show on TNN, and narrated the Jim Carrey movie, Me, Myself and Irene.
His father, Rex Allen, was a western movie star, country/western music hit-maker and the voice of many Disney productions, including Charlotte’s Web.
