Julian Bibb, Sen. Thelma Harper, Sallie and Bill Norton, Gracie Porter, Mental Health America, and Nashville Public Television (NPT) have been selected as the 2019 Sage Awards honorees.
Since 1991, the Sage Awards has been COA’s premiere annual fundraiser, honoring older adults who have improved the quality of life in the community. For the third year, the Sage Awards will also recognize organizations that have made a significant and positive impact on the lives of older adults in Middle Tennessee.
The funds raised through the Sage Awards luncheon help expand and support COA’s mission of championing informed and positive aging, while serving as the area’s resource hub and catalyst for collaborative solutions. COA is the only organization in Middle Tennessee dedicated to identifying and addressing the unmet needs of older adults and family caregivers.
