Take a scenic motorcycle ride through beautiful Sumner County for a good cause, and then enjoy a delicious lunch provided by Top Hog BBQ!
The annual Scenic Sumner County Fall Ride for Food is a fantastic motorcycle event that benefits the Sumner County Food Bank. This event was organized by Homer Bradley and Pastor James Gill, executor director of the food bank, said the Fall Ride for Food has been a big boost in helping to feed hungry people around the county.
The 65-mile motorcycle ride, escorted by the Sumner County Sheriff’s Department to ensure safety, starts at Gallatin’s Historic Downtown Square, runs to Castalian Springs, heads up through Westmoreland, turns across northern Sumner County to Portland, then turns down toward White House before heading back to Gallatin. Once the riders are back in Gallatin, they are treated to a delicious lunch provided by Top Hog BBQ at Triple Creek Park.
