Second Saturday | July
Please note, this event has expired.
The Adventure Science Center is keeping the whole science center open until 10pm during their NEW Second Saturday!
For years, Adventure Science Center has opened their doors late on the Second Saturday to showcase our Sudekum Planetarium’s incredible capabilities, but our NEW Second Saturdays offer so much more! Explore more than 175 hands-on exhibits before, during and after our regular lineup of live shows, documentary-style Fulldome Features and laser shows. There might even be a special hands-on activity or demonstration for even more science fun!
Rush 2112 | 6pm
Experience Rush’s album the best way possible… with epic lasers! In 2062, the universe will find peace… and oppression. Everything will change in 2112 when a free-thinker finds a “strange musical device” and attempts to bring melody to the stars.
Genesis | 7pm
There are moments when artists reach that pinnacle of success… a blockbuster album, a streak of hit radio singles, inescapable media presence, or a combination of all three. Don’t miss Laser Genesis – a feast for the senses in breathtaking laser light!
Led Zeppelin | 8pm
Have you got a Whole Lotta Love for Led Zeppelin? Take the Stairway to Heaven to listen to some Rock-n-Roll at this ultimate Zeppelin experience. Watch classics – such as Immigrant Song and Kashmir – come to life in the fulldome environment.
The Dark Side of the Moon | 9pm
Explore inner and outer space with Pink Floyd’s acclaimed progressive sound. Intensify that experience in the dome and get immersed in the timeless album, accompanied by psychedelic imagery that will take you to that Great Gig in the Sky.
