An evening of entertainment, understanding, empowerment, and hope.
The name signifies how victims and survivors of sexual and domestic violence oftentimes attempt to hide their experience in the shadows. Silent No Longer TN wants to let them know don’t have to hide their trauma, and that they can truly begin to heal once they allow their pain into the light.
Shadows Ignited is a combination of poetry, music, dance, dramatic performances, and monologues to help spread awareness and give victims and survivors a platform to share their stories in a creative way.
Special thanks Southminster Presbyterian Church and Tones of Justice for sponsoring the event.
