Shelter From The Storm - A Concert For Nashville Tornado Relief

Their hope is to gather everyone in a celebration of community and music (because that’s what we do) and share ideas stories, love and support, to raise money and awareness, also to better assess the immediate needs of our friends and neighbors so that more concerted efforts can be made as the bigger picture of what everyone is facing unfolds. The magnitude of loss and damage becomes clearer every day, so I don’t have any expectation that this will be anything more than than the beginning of a larger effort to help our community recover from the catastrophic damage it’s suffered. Loss of homes, businesses, jobs, pets, and worse.

Hands On Nashville – hon.org is working with Metro’s emergency operations center to develop a list of volunteer opportunities. Please check in with them regularly.
