Sheriff Scott & The Deputies Bluegrass

Join Tennessee Brew Works for live bluegrass every Wednesday featuring Sheriff Scott & The Deputies and 2-4-1 craft beer specials. Enjoy live music from 6PM – 8PM and 2-for-1 craft beer specials all day.

Sheriff Scott and the Deputies are writing the laws of modern acoustic music. Bluegrass with a bend, folk with a flash – a quartet that builds the barn and burns it down – a dynamic blast of high, low, and lonesome. Scott Simontacchi – singer-songwriter, photographer, hat-maker – paints a picture with words. Vivid stories of heartbreak, hope, and humor over traditional sounds taking unconventional routes to the center of a song. Jokingly brandishing a badge on a pick-up gig on Sunday afternoon at Nashville’s infamous Browns Diner dubbed the term, ‘Sheriff Scott.’ Since that day in 2013 the band plays on.

Sheriff Scott and the Deputies celebrate the release of their second album, New Old Songs in April 2019. Their newest single “Blind Love” and first self-titled release is currently available on all digital mediums.

The bands true grit is revealed at their live performances. From a 3-year weekly residency at a local Nashville brewery to festivals across the world, Sheriff Scott and the Deputies provide a listening experience that taps into the endless possibilities of string music when it puts the songs – and the soul – first.
